Neem, also known as Indian lilac, has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties that can aid in treating boils. Boil a handful of neem leaves in water until the water changes color. Allow it to cool and then wash the affected area with this neem-infused water. Repeat this process two to three times a day until the boil disappears.

Onions possess antimicrobial properties and can help reduce inflammation and pain associated with boils. Cut an onion into thick slices and place them over the boil. Secure the slices with a clean cloth or bandage and leave it on overnight. Rinse the area with warm water in the morning. Repeat this remedy daily until the boil improves.
