Discolored Nails
Changes in nail color can be indicative of various health conditions. Yellowish nails may suggest fungal infections, while white spots or streaks can indicate nutrient deficiencies. Bluish nails might be a sign of low oxygen levels in the blood, which could be associated with lung or heart problems. In rare cases, brown or black streaks on the nails may be a sign of melanoma.
Spoon-shaped Nails
If your nails are concave, resembling a spoon, it could be a sign of iron deficiency anemia or a liver condition known as hemochromatosis. Spoon-shaped nails can also be linked to heart disease or hypothyroidism.
